    Mac - Request Operator Menu?

Just curious - I appear to be unable to select/access any of the Operator Menus in any of the Williams tables. Is this by design, or am I missing something? Mac (27-inch, Late 2013) Mac OS Mojave 10.14.3 Zen Pinball 2 1.35

    Well I'll be .. a Mac update!

I sent a couple of screenshots to Rob@farsightstudios.com. If there's anything else you need, or any way I can help, please let me know.

    Well I'll be .. a Mac update!

Well, I thought I could, but for some reason, I can't seem to be able to figure out how to post an image here... I can email you a screenshot, if you'd be kind enough to provide me with a preferred address...

    Well I'll be .. a Mac update!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while... I've been in the hospital recovering from foot surgery... I was pleased to see an update to TPA while I was out, but sadly, it's still crashing upon ball launch from any table. Crash report follows - Process: PinballArcade [58469] Path...

Mac - Bug Good News and Bad News...

Some other observations concerning the App Store version of TPA- I cannot launch a table, or start a game via the keyboard (I have to use the mouse) The previous text of the Crash Report was upon a ball launch with a table using a plunger... A ball launch using a button also results in a...

Mac - Bug Good News and Bad News...

I just checked my control options, and in the 'Controller' section, all controls are (NULL). I also attempted to set some of my controls in the 'Keyboard' section, and discovered that attempting to set any controls using my arrow keys results in a (NULL) setting. Even controls that were...

Mac - Bug Good News and Bad News...

For what it's worth, here's the text of the crash report (This happens upon the launch of a ball, specifically upon the release of the plunger, or pressing (releasing, in the case of Championship Pub) the launch ball button.) Also, if it makes any difference, I had logged out, and back into my...

Mac - Bug Good News and Bad News...

First the Good News - The problem(s) preventing TPA from launching appear to have been fixed! I now have access to all available tables (well, Ghostbusters is still MIA, but I imagine that'll happen sooner, rather than later) Now, the Bad News (for me at least) - 1) The control scheme appears...

    no news is no news

Ever the optimist, I'm maintaining faith that the Mac version will eventually see the light of day... In order to hedge my bet, however, I've also made sure to purchase the remaining tables (that thus far were unavailable, due to the inability to launch TPA in OS X) for my iPad, in the hopes...

    no news is no news

Mike Lindsey - Thank you for the response, and the transfer offer! :) Just knowing that the problems are being addressed, and a fix is forthcoming is enough for now. I truly enjoy TPA on my iMac, and look forward to being able to play it again. In the meantime, if at all possible, a periodic...

    no news is no news

I was just wondering if there's any news, or progress that can be shared concerning the Mac version of TPA. I'm not asking for a release date, or demanding a deadline for fixes to problems that Farsight is well aware of, just some reassurance that problems are being addressed, and fixes are...

    Fathom not on Steam

Well, 10.13.1 (and an update to Xcode) was recently released. My problem with TPA persists (after the 10.13.1 update), but I hold out hope that the problem(s) on your end are resolved quickly.

    Fathom not on Steam

I have to ask... Is this related at all to the problem with High Sierra (OSX 10.13) that I mentioned in a previous post?

    High Sierra?

Well, I tried installing High Sierra on an external drive, to see if that would fix the problem, and, no change...:( For what it's worth, I've been noticing some other, random, minor graphic glitches (mostly in the Finder) since upgrading (and even after applying the 'Supplemental Update'), so...

    High Sierra?

APFS is only supported on SSD drives at the moment, with support for non-SSD drives said to be coming in a future release (it's not an option to install on regular disc-based hard drives yet). I may have to try installing High Sierra on an external drive, and see if that makes a difference...

    High Sierra?

Oops, you're right... although APFS is not an option for me yet, as mine is a 3TB Fusion Drive, so I'm still on HFS+.

    High Sierra?

Thank you. I also simply updated from 10.12.6. I, of course, have no clue what might have happened in my case, but with any luck, the Farsight Mac programmer (do they only have the one?) will be able to figure this out...

    High Sierra?

Well, this is... Interesting... I went ahead last night, and installed 10.13, and while the installation went smoothly, and the majority of my existing applications work without incident, it seems I have run into a little problem with TPA - When I launch the game, the music starts, but no game...

    High Sierra?

So I've downloaded the installer for Mac OS High Sierra (10.13), but have yet to install it. Does anyone have any insight as to the effect (if any) this new OS will have on TPA?
