No need to roll back to previous OS,for me TPA is working very well on Win10 but i'm using Nvidia gpu, assuming he's got AMD,there are problems with drivers for AMD gpu's on Win10.
Backing up folder in "C:\Users\<username>\My Games\Pinball Arcade\" doesn't help,i restored that folder when clean installed Win10 and all my scores and goals are gone :(
I even backed up my TPA data with GamesSavesManager - all games i played restored data with this software with no problems...
Just launch the game directly from installation folder,You have there 2 exe files DX9 and DX11,make desktop shortcut of the DX11 exe and voila :D
steam>steamapps>common>PinballArcade
I launch TPA that way, using Steam app only to update TPA to the latest version.
Yesterday i installed clean windows 10 and i backed up my saves with SavesBackupManager, today started TPA with restored save and everything is clean.Manual copying My Games TPA folder to C with TPA settings doesn't helped.
Reduced bulb brightness to 75% on CV,TOTAN,and Funhouse and all tables playing smoothly now - room brightness set to 10%.Nice work for such weak notebook gpu like GT710m (-:
Back buffer widht 1440
Back buffer height 768
MSAA samples 1
MSAA quality 30
Anisotrophy 16
Ball brighten On
Pinball FX looks much better than TPA on X360,this game isn't very demanding graphically, even with new lighting engine should be running very well on this console.
