That doesn't make any sense. None of these files are marked as read-only. If they were, how would they get written to by the game? In any case, it turns out the correct approach is to properly finish a game in which one or more wizard goals is unlocked. I'd suggest that Farsight get around to... -

Bug Most annoying bugs (still) in TPA
Wizard goals that don't register. If you're going to have goals, then how hard is it to make sure they register? I'm done buying tables until they fix it, which means I'm probably done buying tables forever.- UvulaBob

200M bonus wizard goal

Does anyone else have issues with goal progress just... disappearing? I've tried everything I can think of - turning off Steam cloud sync and making local copies of game saves. But when I come back to the game, I find that half the time, all of the progress I've made toward the goals has...
