The best use of this: when the ray shot to start multiball also started 1-2-3 Reflex. Soft-plunge to a catch and you have a free untimed shot at Reflex 2. Here's what to do with the Gazillion. Catch a ball on each flipper. Shoot the Mixmaster from the right, then _immediately_ post pass left-to-right and shoot it again. That way you get both balls hitting towards Gazillion points. If you're really lucky, one will still be in the Mixmaster when the first reaches the right flipper, so you can shoot it _again_ while still active. I've gotten up to four shots this way for 8.5 gazillion points. This works, about 99% on the left side and 92% or so on the right. Problem is when it doesn't work, you almost certainly have to nudge again to slap save to prevent the drain. So don't do this on the right side when out of tilt warnings. Yes. However, don't start aiming for the drops until you're close to the jackpot (< 20 hits). You may never regain control, so in that case you want to have done most of the jackpot grinding already since the hit count does carry over to the next multiball. Pay attention to the drops during single ball play and try to complete them if there's just 1 or 2 left. Starting multiball resets them. Going for them is worth it for the million shot and towards extra balls. More flipper tricks: Backhanding Gift of Gab from a catch on the right flipper is very easy and safe. If you miss, you hit Big Shot which is good in its own right and usually comes back to a safe catch. A shot from a catch on the left flipper to the bottom drop target seems to rebound into Gift of Gab virtually every time. When you need to shoot Gab anyway, might as well take the free drop target hit. There's a fairly safe shot to the left edge of the Heart target from a catch on the left flipper. Usually comes back to the flippers such that a dead pass can trap it again.
