heh sorry extort, i made my write-up a bit of a work-out!
p.s. to add that after another round at SC, i saw that a "cyberdog" boardspace does revert to the pb table, and then you have to resink a ball to get back up to the board (while keeping previous boardplayed spaces), so it -does- at least have one mode of back-and-forth, which is great! instead of having to start the board all over again every time; just hadn't encountered that play yet - seems like anything like "guard caught you" just resets/restarts the board when you get to it the next time. so there's at least that much incentive to get back to the board, although with dice-rollers, i just never feel much challenge... still a great variation for a pb.
