The rotten apple here is that damn kickback. It starts off turned off, meaning you have to to turn it on. . . . by hitting ALL 6 spot targets (inb4 git gud) (EDIT: rating went up to 4. it's only the 1-2-3 or the 4-5-6 that's needed, not all 6. Sure seemed like it though). And even when you manage to turn it on it turns off the moment it gets rolled over (most other games it stays on several seconds afterwards), or if the ball drains. Hell, by the time it's even useful I've probably lost a ball or two, sometimes by draining down the left outlane lol. Kind of an infinity+1 feature.

Anyway, just trying to explain where my head was at at the time I rated these. ;]
Monster Bash: The gameplay and artwork is actually pretty well done. It's just that the voices are so godawful they really bring down the rating. I don't know who they were (the girl sounds like she also did the voices in Medieval Madness. I'd like to think they were done by someone else because the voices sound awesome in that game), but they were overpaid. >.< Basically it was a rotten apple that spoiled the whole barrel. Cirqus Voltaire: The artwork, voices, and sounds was actually pretty cool, but the table had kind of a tragic flaw: If you went through that loop behind the Ringmaster's head from right to left, it went straight down the middle. Medieval Madness' left peasant ramp, Black Knights one or both right ramps, and Tales of the Arabian Nights loop (every so often) had that same issue as well. I was forced to nudge - and risk getting a tilt warning, ludicrous as that might sound - to keep the ball from draining. Like Monster Bash, this too was a "rotten apple". Firepower - The table itself is actually pretty good, with one of the most balanced inlane/outlanes I've seen, kinda like Black Knight. Anyway, just trying to explain where my head was at at the time I rated these. ;]
