How is Dirty Harry scoring so low? Major shocker there.

Really expected it to be one of the top 3 or 4.

Well I voted for it along with Defender, Johnny Mnemonic and Joust.

Of the four I've only ever played Johnny Mnemonic; whilst I'm not the biggest fan of the film the machine was a lot of fun, surprisingly. Dirty Harry looks like a good use of the license and an interesting machine. Defender is something I'd really like to get to play someday and Joust is really just because it's a unique machine: head-to-head pinball - does it even support single-player games?

Trust me, it does. The game modes are a blast to play.

- Defusing a bomb on a timer by continuously shooting loops. (Each loop shot is a "Wire cut" on the video screen)

- Chasing a criminal on the run by way of helicopter. (Each loop shot gets your helicopter closer and closer to the video. The final loop shot shows you shooting the criminal from your helicopter.

- It also has a gun that shoots like the ball, like in "Terminator 2" or "Star Trek: TNG".

Overall, it's just a really fun table. It's always the first one I play when I go to my local arcade.

How easy is it to license Mr. Eastwood's voice/likeness? I'd much rather have Dirty Harry than Terminator 2!

I'm kind of shocked that Dirty Harry is being beaten by Rollergames.

I'm disgusted more than anything.

If you check the rankings, "Dirty Harry" is #96 (http://pinside.com/pinball/archive/dirty-harry/ratings), with "Rollergames" ranked at #174. (http://pinside.com/pinball/archive/rollergames/ratings) The gameplay alone is like night and day between those two. I just don't get the overrating of "Rollergames"?

I'm still shocked that "Freddy" didn't even make the cut in the Official Top 10 Premium Poll.

There are some very strange people around here. lol
