I'm locked in to the Nvidia line with g-sync so haven't really looked closely at AMD cards. But you have 1440p monitor, which I also have. If you plan to run games well in that native resolution, from the little looking around, you'll need something a little better than a 470/570 (which sounds fine for 1080p). May want to look at Tom's Hardware buying guide, which is recommending a AMD 5700 for a 1440p monitor: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-buying-guide,5844.html 1440p is still pretty demanding resolution even with gsync/freesync technology to help out. For my 1440p gsync monitor with a 1070 OC card there's still plenty of games I have to turn down the graphic options to get a consistent smooth experience. Pinball FX3 isn't one of them though - but it sounds like there's anecdotal evidence it's supposed to be played at 60fps as is to keep the physics consistent - so vsync on.
