Beautiful. Weird. Wacky. Funny. Tasteless...
I love those pinball flyers.

I wanted to suggest some of the most interesting ones IMHO.

Your comments about them and/or the tables are welcome.

First to go : ALI
(Stern/1980/2.971 units)
Never played that pin but the flyer is one of "the greatest".

1980. Because obviously Ali hadn't been any good for, what, half a decade by then?

Has there ever been a Rocky pin? Too lazy to go to ipdb.

ROCKY

(Gottlieb/1982/1.504 units)
Note from IPDB : When seen in the movie "Rocky III", this machine had a prop backglass used only for the movie.
Only three of the prop backglasses were made, and one was destroyed in the film when Paulie, Rocky's brother-in-law, threw a bottle of Scotch through it.

And don't forget Rocky
...and Bullwinkle ! ;)

Hook them up, somehow. Go head-to-head NBA Fastbreak style. Ali vs Balboa! It'll be the... something... of the... some random time period.

A nice fight.
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee in the eye of the tiger.

Go on with a classic : PARAGON
(Bally/1979/9.120 units)
A heroic fantasy world of muscular barbarian heroes, maidens wearing chainmail bikinis, lush landscapes, and everything trying to kill you...

Yeah !
I really like the front side of XENON.

Xenon was the first talking pinball, with a sexy, female voice.

METEOR
(Stern/1979/8.362 units)
This one is simple but special (and unique).
The original painting for this poster was by artist Robert McCall (1919-2010). RIP.

The artwork on the backglass and flyer was derived
from one of the advertising posters made
for the 1979 movie 'Meteor'. (Ugly movie).

FATHOM
(Bally/1981/3.500 units)
Artist Kevin O'Connor made the design and art which was created to look like a page of a comic book.
Fathom is the only back glass in which a murder is being committed for everyone to see.
