In contrast to the above, last month's update was up on the store for iOS the day of wide release. Why so prompt then, but now we wait a week? You would expect a first-come-first-serve policy to prevail, but this is a wild disparity between months.
It's entirely in Apple's hands; I don't think Farsight has more info than we do about the progress. And I'm sure they want our money as much as we want to spend it.
Now that the final table of the season is announced and imminent, Apple's objections to season passes no longer apply.
My guess is that whenever the Safecracker iOS update is released (hopefully Friday), buying the season 4 pass will be an included option.
The newsletter said something about Apple agreeing to expedite the process, so I suppose it could be any minute (Now if they'd only approve in-advance season passes).
In the case of iOS availability, W1lld, I'm pretty sure it's all in Apple's hands now. They approve it when they approve it and FS can't do anything once it's submitted to the store.
And to address the original question, there's no way to get an ETA, but based on recent releases it should not...
Chuck Norris can score zero points on Attack from Mars.
When Chuck Norris plays Twilight Zone, the trembling voice of Rod Serling asks him how many points he would like.
When Chuck Norris plays Gorgar, Gorgar recites epic poetry in an erudite English accent.
Dr. Dude scores a trillion...
I'm thinking much the same. Since this is Apple's rule and not FarSight's, isn't it all the same to them if, say, purchasers of the first six or seven tables are automatically credited for the rest of the season?
Patience may be a virtue, but we don't become pinball fans by being patience...
Newsletter's out. The bad news: "The iOS version will be delayed due to a sudden spike in review time at Apple. We expect to be approved in the next few days! We Apologize for any inconvenience this may have cause."
"We expect to launch the Kickstarter this summer."
Just out of curiosity (no impatience or nothin'), they've launched Kickstarters before and they know the amount they need; why not launch hours ago?
I've lived in Ann Arbor (seat of UM), and can't imagine a pinball connection other than the grade-A arcade Pinball Pete's.
Although their mascot is the Wolverine... so X-Men, which is also a movie series?
