Unfortunately all that did was change it so my input was no longer recognized unless I used the D-pad, and then the D-pad had the same problem. All my high scores now are like "AAA" and it's starting to drive me ka-razy.
I originally had this problem with No Fear, and now I'm having it with Judge Dredd. What gives? Whether I use the left or right button, it seems to enter whatever letter is currently available for selection. Surprised not very many people are complaining, so I'm wondering if this is only...
Well that was a stupid simple fix. Switched to a different USB port and everything worked fine. Switched back to the first USB port and everything was still working. Thanks. :)
Is anyone else now unable to use their wired Xbox 360 controller after a recent update? I can use it to navigate through the menu, but once I start a game it won't let me use the plunger. I'm using default settings, but I've noticed the controller menu no longer recognizes any inputs - so I...
I can't seem to complete the Extra Ball standard goal for some reason. Twice now I've played a game where I exceeded 30 million points and earned the "Shoot Again." But neither time am I rewarded with successfully completing the goal.
Am I misunderstanding what I'm supposed to do, or is this...
I figured this topic was done, but I've been playing Scared Stiff Pro today and noticed the callouts were for Family Mode On. So I double checked the menu settings and I still have this saved as Family Mode Off. Does anyone else have this issue? One easy way to tell is by Elvira's missing...
Just tried out El Dorado: City of Gold and it seems to have control mapping issues with an Xbox controller. There is no way to map the 2nd set of flippers. If the first set are mapped to LT & RT, then the 2nd set will work with LT & RT regardless of what buttons are assigned to them. But if...
Hmmm. That's interesting. I would be OK with that, but for instance - I keep having to go into Scared Stiff to turn off family mode. Family mode stays off only until I exit the table. Wonder why mine is acting like this?
I just doublechecked my MM. It's definitely "Family Mode: No". I just turned Operator Mode on to go in there, and didn't have to make any changes.
Right. Didn't mean to imply FarSight was the ones that added Family Mode. But why is "Family Mode: Off" the default setting for Medieval Madness? It really makes me think something got overlooked and this should be the default setting for SS as well.
Yes. And as I've come to realize, I do experience this on other tables with 3 or more multiballs. (MM like another poster suggested. And Harley Davidson as well. But not necessarily every table, because I had no issues with Whitewater.)
My game is on max settings...

Perhaps the slowdown may be linked to the number of balls used but it doesn't seem to be this way for every table. In SS, if it's three or more it's like I'm playing in slow motion. (But it's a smooth slow motion if that makes sense.) Crate multiball is only two balls so that's why it doesn't...
I don't entirely understand the point of Family Mode when just as many lines of innuendo were left in as there were taken out. So who decided which lines would go over kids' heads and which ones would not? :)
