I know Microsoft is releasing an Xbox One wired gamepad for PC in November. Wireless will not work. No receiver available. Looks like I'll hang on for a few months or get the X360 wireless instead.
I'm thinking of getting the Xbox One Wireless + Charging kit I know I will need to buy a USB receiver separate. Still researching it yet to see if it all works with Windows 8.
December or November 2013 they said PC is the main platform. DX 11 soon and after that cabinet features.

Since Highspeed update the mipmapping setting defaults back to off sometimes. I have to...

It just updated itself with Junkyard :)
The graphics have improved on PC a lot since Christmas higher texture resolutions and better lighting, rendering . Junk yard graphics are flawless the shaders look DX 9 instead of DX 7. This has made waiting for DX11 easier. Thanks Mike & Farsight.
I'm really loving the graphics on this the shaders the textures the lighting. I'm really enjoying this table it's fun and eye candy. I've noticed in the last two updates the graphics have improved on all the tables. Thanks Farsight.
DX 9 can't support HDR rendering and at the same time antialiasing. So DX10 or 11 is important for a large range of contrast and brightness, colour range. For true lighting it takes a top end i7 and raytracing + global illumination software, which render a frame per minuets. So over a decade...
