New Black Knight update. Items that have been noticed so far:
Magna-save physics much improved. Ball now wobbles as it is caught by the magnet.
More accurate lighting emulation, although still missing the strobe preamble for multi-ball.
Seems the sound volume has been increased slightly on...
I wonder if any thought has ever been given to doing a classic EM Pitch n Bat table. Certainly wouldn't be as many game details as a regular pin, but from a historical standpoint, would be cool to have one.
Any thoughts from Android tablet players on the best tablet for TPA? I'm thinking of upgrading from my year-old Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 which can get a little flaky at times. I'm guessing there are better choices, for example ones with faster graphics processors, etc. All opinions welcome.
I know this has been touched on before, but I really miss the sounds and lighting effects that start multi-ball. Any chance of an update? Seems to me it's one of the central effects of play. Really surprised it wasn't included.
Part of the problem with having ultra-dry skin is playing TPA on a tablet. Periodically, due to low skin conductivity, the screen will not register a tap. And usually when you're ten points from a Wizard Goal!
I just got a pretty respectable score (Funhouse 101m+) and realized afterward that I wasn't online and logged in. Will the score be eventually posted on the leaderboard after the fact?
For a long time, I've been experiencing flipper delay and often completely unresponsive flippers. It was suggested that I uninstall and reinstall TPA. Would someone be willing to give me detailed instructions on how to do so? Thanks in advance.
Apologies if some of these thoughts have been covered.
Been playing the table intensively for a few weeks. Aside from it being buggier than a Motel 6 roll-away, it's still a fun way to kill a few hours.
Thanks to whomever it was that posted the bug workaround of changing the ball color so the...
I started playing CV a few weeks ago and have found it to be challenging, but not hair-pulling. After a few weeks of play, I’m able to at least complete all nine marvels pretty routinely, although I haven’t yet gotten past the “Unmask Voltaire” level.
From a catch on either side, I’ve been able...
Just a brief look at my pinball pilgrimage to The Pinball Wizard Arcade in Pelham, New Hampshire, October 11.
Opting to stay in nearby Nashua due to the greater options in accommodations, traveling to Pelham involves 20 minutes with many twists and turns down sleepy, country roads, finally...
I started out really liking this table. After a month or so of play, my opinions have changed. This table is 99% luck. There is only one skill-shot possible, plunging to hit the top left rollover (there is no skill needed to hit the top right rollover. You do a full plunger shot and you hit it...
Looked at CP months ago. Saw that gargantuan center drain, no inlanes and all those pop-bumpers and completely discounted it. Played the free version for a while and said, "Why not?" I learned not to judge a book by its cover. After only one day of play, I've found I have no trouble lighting...
I'm sure this question has been touched on before, but has anyone ever done an A/B test between TPA play and real life play with Big Shot? I realize in many respects it would not be a fair comparison depending on issues such as maintenance and how a RL table might be set up. But, from a pure...
Just curious how it is humanly possible to get some of the high scores shown on various leaderboards. For example, I feel victorious if I get 200,000+ on "Big Shot." But 87 million?! Having played the game for quite a while now, knowing what a drain monster it is, etc.... Am I that lousy a...
I've periodically been experiencing unresponsive flippers. Thought at first it was my fault, perhaps not making adequate screen contact, etc. But no. This is a fundamental issue across all eight tables I own so far (although I have been playing Big Shot a lot lately and have therefore seen it...
I'm sure this has been touched on in previous threads. But, I want to start planning a trip for next summer. Would users like to chime in on must-visit pinball arcades/museums/etc.? I've read various plus and minus things about the Las Vegas museum, Silverball in NJ, Seattle. There's even...
Would love to see this table in TPA. I have a soft spot for it as it was the first multi-ball table I ever played. Although, I imagine the ballistics of the spinning rubber disc in the center-playfield would be tough to emulate properly.
