Same issue here...
Also:
- still getting hangs/crashes when signing in to the leaderboards, specifically at the "resolving friends" dialogue
- Cirqus Voltaire DMD is still screwy
Random slowdowns/crap performance on certain tables, with no other programs running in the background; running...
Also, this has been an issue for me since the initial download -- I'm sure audio quality was cut to keep download sizes reasonable for the iOS version which this is based off of, but does the ingame audio have to be so cracky? Even when it's just music playing, it sounds like a fizzling...
OS X - bought everything
Ouya - would buy just for TPA.
I probably spend about $15-20/week on real tables, so a fiver here or there for DLC is totally OK by me.
Makes sense. It's not a huge deal, as I've been putting up scores that trounce mine in real life even with it...I'd just like leaderboards/login/FB bragging to work right for now.
I would just be thrilled if the flippers had the proper 'snap' like real flippers. If I could catch/lower/hit without it threatening to dump, that'd be great.
Also, you still can't nudge/flip at the same time. :\
Was stoked about finally updating to Mountain Lion to get all the DLC, being able to see leaderboards/friends scores would be awesome. Other than that, works great for me under 10.8.2 on my '09 Mac Pro.
Graphic design (routinely Photoshop files measured in tens of gigs), editing commercials and brand films, recording music, using expensive pieces of external/internal A/V hardware that don't play nice with Lion, etc. You know, just browsin' Facebook at the coffee shop. ;)
Also, things like...
I'm not happy about it either, but those are Apple's App Store rules, not Farsight's.
It's really sad for developers like Farsight that this boneheaded 'forced' upgrade path deemed necessary by Apple means I can no longer support them. That an app that's essentially a grown up iPhone/Pad app...
Yeah, I know it's an Apple issue, but it's a bummer nonetheless. Upgrading past SL would break a bunch of stuff I need for work, so unless they decide to make a standalone (non-App Store) version (unlikely), I'm SOL as well.
Lion = u_u
Gotta stick with SL for work-related reasons, soooo...I know that's an Apple issue and not you guys, but WELP...guess I get to sit this out from here on out. :(
Dang, another round of DLC announced, and still no updates for the Mac side. The only ray of sunshine is that the 360 guys are still waiting on theirs, but...Monster Bash!! ;)
*patiently waiting with moneys*
LOTR and Tron if I can only get two. Surprised to see CSI get no love, despite the theme and hilariously bad voice work, it's really a fun game.
Been playing a ton of Family Guy lately, it sorta reminds me of a broke-ass Dr. Who, especially the left side of the table.
Also, NBA is really...
I agree on the lack of "desktop" oriented menu functions for the interface, though it's understandable.
- Options to remap keys (z and / for nudge just doesn't feel "right" to me, if I could move them up/down a row, that'd be awesome), and a dedicated pause key would be awesome.
- Fix the...
Aw man, I was just about to buy this for my Android, saw there was a MacOS version, bought it, and now I'm super bummed I can't get the DLC tables. Updates plllllleeeeease.
Also an option to remap keys would be boss.
Experienced occasional slowdown on Theater on my rig (2.66 quad Nehalem...
