Something I've noticed is that any player action to the DMD for any DMD game seems to take a bit to process. For example, in TNG's video mode, it's very hard for me to move accurately. And just now I found this thread.
I've never noticed this on what few real tables I've played (Batman, Fish Tales, Indiana Jones), and this doesn't happen in MAME. It's been so long since I played a real machine though, so I don't know what's correct and what's not. I do know that having to "play to the lag" is downright infuriating, though!
