UPDATE First off, I want to apologize for lagging behind a bit on updating this News Thread. This time of year is always a busy time for me (family and work) which has left little, if any, free time to update with the latest news. The following is some of the latest information on The Pinball Arcade that's dropped within the last week or two...ENJOY!

*The Twilight Zone (Premium Add-On Table #1) has been pushed back a bit due to extended Beta testing and should be available on Android and iOS early-mid December with releases on Kindle Fire, Mac, PS3 (NA/EU) and PS Vita (NA/EU) due by the end December. The price will more than likely be $4.99 USD for The Twilight Zone and $7.99 USD for the Pro Pack which includes The Twilight Zone and its Pro Menu. Pricing subject to change before release.

*Table Add-On Pack #7 should be available for PS3 (NA/EU) and PS Vita (NA/EU) shortly after the release of The Twilight Zone on the aforementioned platforms. Exact release date is TBD.

*Star Trek : The Next Generation (Premium Add-On Table #2) will be the next table released following The Twilight Zone and will more than likely be available by the end of January 2013 beginning with Android and iOS. Releases on Kindle Fire, Mac, PS3 (NA/EU) and PS Vita (NA/EU) will follow soon after, though the time frame could change depending on the duration of Beta testing that is required before release.

*Two table add-on packs will resume with Table Add-on Pack #8 which will more than likely be pushed to February 2013.

*FarSight is still in the process of securing a publisher for release of additional content on the Xbox 360 and hope to get the issue squared away very soon. Once a publisher is secured, The Twilight Zone will be the first table released and possibly immediately followed by Star Trek : The Next Generation, depending on when the publisher issue is resolved.

*FarSight will be releasing a Pro Menu Add-On for every table with the Pro Menu for The Twilight Zone and Scared Stiff becoming available with the next update. The Pro Menu Add-On for Tales of the Arabian Nights is already available on Android, iOS, Kindle Fire and Mac for $3.99 USD.

*Terminator 2 : Judgment Day will be the next Kickstarter which should launch Q2 2013.

*A brand new UI is currently in production and FarSight hopes to have it rolled out within the next month or two.

*Ball skins are currently being tested a may be included with The Twilight Zone update if no major issues are found.

*The Wii U version of The Pinball Arcade is progressing well and FarSight hopes to post a preview video and/or pics soon.

*3DS - FarSight still has not obtained the performance they need out of the 3DS to run their ROM emulation at an acceptable framerate. FarSight is still working on this, but with the ROM emulation being as taxing as it is, they are going to be hard pressed in getting the 3DS to run most, if not all, of the emulated tables currently released.

*FarSight is still hovering around #90 on the Greenlight Top 100 which may result in The Pinball Arcade not receiving the greenlight yet again. If you haven't done so already, please take a minute to VOTE for The Pinball Arcade on Steam Greenlight.

UPDATE Earlier this year, FarSight announced that they were looking to possibly release The Pinball Arcade on Windows Phone 8 by the end of the year, but with FarSight still undecided at this point in time, I have removed all references until FarSight makes an official announcement if they decide to support Windows Phone 8 in the future.

UPDATE With FarSight Studios' The Pinball Arcade already recognized as "Best Mobile Game" on X-Play's Best of 2012 Awards, it's time to let the rest of the mobile gaming world know what they've been missing by voting for The Pinball Arcade as "Best Mobile Game" on IGN's Best of 2012 - Mobile.

UPDATE Here are some news tidbits and updated information released within the last week.

• Mac Version 1.0.8 featuring optimizations for older machines and bug fixes is AVAILABLE NOW!

• For those still having trouble claiming their Twilight Zone table Kickstarter reward on Mac, please send your FarSight login account information to support@pinballarcade.com.

• Fixes for end of game bug on Scared Stiff and a bug that does not allow Kickstarter backers to see both their previously purchased tables and The Twilight Zone table simultaneously will be included in the next iOS update which should be available by the end of December.

• FarSight is hoping to include a brand new UI in the next Android, iOS and Mac updates. A brand new UI for Kindle Fire, PS3 (NA/EU) and PS Vita (NA/EU) should follow soon after.

• The next Kindle Fire update featuring The Twilight Zone should be available this week.

• The Twilight Zone and Table Pack #7 (Scared Stiff and Big Shot) are currently in submission with SCEA and SCEE and awaiting approval.

• There are many fixes and improvements for previous tables included in the upcoming PS3/PS Vita (NA/EU) Title Update which includes the assets for The Twilight Zone and Table Pack #7 (Scared Stiff and Big Shot).

• The Twilight Zone and Table Pack #7 (Scared Stiff and Big Shot) should be available on PS3 (NA/EU) and PS Vita (NA/EU) in early January and Star Trek : The Next Generation in early February.

• FarSight is looking to submit Pro Packs to SCEA and SCEE as soon as they have them ready.

• FarSight is looking to add an option to toggle the 2-stage flipper feature on/off in the near future.

• FarSight is looking to add an option to give the user the choice of downloading all updated tables at once or one at a time in the near future.

• The Xbox 360 publisher issue is currently in the process of being resolved and FarSight hopes to submit new content, improvements and fixes to Microsoft as soon as possible.

• FarSight is still working hard on the Wii U version and is looking to submit it to Nintendo and release it as soon as possible.

• The Pinball Arcade is currently sitting at #85 on Steam's Greenlight Top 100.

This version features a fix for a bug where the orientation was being locked improperly when playing a table. NOTE : The main menu is only implemented in landscape mode for the time being and locked as such, but a portrait mode will be coming soon. BREAKING NEWS!!! FarSight Selects NEW PUBLISHER For Xbox 360...New Content To Be Submitted SOON!!!

Months after Crave Entertainment filed for bankruptcy and add-on content for the Xbox 360 was put on hold, FarSight has selected a new publisher for the Xbox 360 version of The Pinball Arcade! They are currently in the final stages of contracting and hope to submit all finished tables, additional features, bug fixes and improvements to Microsoft very soon. FarSight plans to make an announcement when they know when the Title Update and new tables will be released for the Xbox 360.

FarSight is also planning to release The Twilight Zone, Star Trek : The Next Generation, additional features, bug fixes and improvements first and will collaborate with their new publisher and Microsoft to decide at what increments to release the remaining Table Add-On Packs.

UPDATE Hopefully I can get back to more frequent and timely updates now that the holidays are over with.

• Added platform and device specific release time frames for Table Add-On Pack #8 featuring Attack from Mars and Genie.

• Premium Table Add-On #2 featuring Star Trek : The Next Generation is now due by early March for PS3 (NA/EU) and PS Vita (NA/EU).

• Added Centaur as "announced" to the Tables Chart.

• FarSight will be releasing a beta build soon to all backers (including those that backed at the $100 tier and above) that elected the PC version as their platform of choice on The Twilight Zone and/or Star Trek : The Next Generation Kickstarter campaigns that way they can play the table they backed and see how the PC version looks as well.

• Although FarSight has secured a new publisher for the Xbox 360, due to the terms set by the new publisher, FarSight is unable to make an official announcement until the new publisher gives them permission to do so. As soon as FarSight is allowed to, they will begin submitting to Microsoft.

UPDATE The Pinball Arcade once again missed being greenlit on January 15th and the project is now sitting at #75 on Steam's Greenlight Top 100. The Pinball Arcade needs to maintain a steady stream of voters to allow it to climb the charts and get as close to the Top 10 as possible to have the best possible chance of being greenlit, so please take a minute to VOTE for The Pinball Arcade on Steam Greenlight.

UPDATE Android version 1.10.0 and iOS version 1.2.3 featuring Attack from Mars and Genie are AVAILABLE NOW!

• Table Add-On Pack #9 will feature Dr. Dude and Firepower.

• The top 100 finishers in the December Tournament have been awarded the Eyeball Custom Ball located in the Extras Menu. The only way to get these special custom balls is to finish within a specified ranking in a tournament.

• The next tournament on mobile platforms will begin this coming weekend and will feature eight tables. The top 200 players at the end of the tournament will win a special custom ball. NOTE : You must be logged into your Pinball Arcade account while playing.

• Premium Add-On #1 featuring The Twilight Zone will be available on PS3 (NA/EU) and PS Vita (NA/EU) on February 5th.

• Table Add-On Pack #7 featuring Scared Stiff and Big Shot will be available on PS3 (NA/EU) and PS Vita (NA/EU) on February 12th.

• Pro Versions of Medieval Madness and Tales of the Arabian Nights will be available on PS3 (NA/EU) and PS Vita (NA/EU) on February 19th.
