Hi. I wonder if can someone can clear this up for me. if you use a gamepad, you probably put the nudge buttons on the shoulders.
But, I am a bit confused as to the orientation of it. Which one of these is correct?

A) Left nudge means you nudge with left hand.
B) Left nudge means nudging the machine to the left, which involves the right hand.

Thanks!

I would probably set it up like the PS3 and use the lift analog stick. If you just use the shoulder buttons, you can't nudge up. Remember, your nudging the table, not the ball, so pushing the stick to the left would nudge the table to the left, pushing it right would nudge the table to the right. And so on....

Thanks, I thought it was that.
I still can use nudge up (though can't say I ever have) by putting it on the right stick. So effectively, I think it would be best to reverse the shoulder buttons so that left nudge means left hand. I can change it if it feels wrong, but last night it felt ok.
It would be interesting to hear how other people go about this though, not just in TPA but any pinball game with a pad.
