One of my all time favorites. The lyrics are depressing but I like to think of this song as a song of freedom and escape. But you might find it otherwise. Please check it out if you aren't familiar with it. Had to leave out perhaps the strongest line as it would give away the title.

Coming home after school
Riding my bike past the gates of the factories
My mom doing the laundry
Hanging out shirts in the dirty breeze
And after it rains there's a rainbow
And all of the colors are black
It's not that the colors aren't there
It's just imagination they lack
Had to cheat to get that one

My Little Town has always been one of my favorite Simon & Garfunkel songs. Back to you Naildiver74 since you took the time to look it up.

sleeping on your belly
you break my arms
you spoon my eyes
been rubbing a bad charm
with holy fingers

And all that I need now
Is someone with the brains and the know-how
To tell me what I want... anyhow

A smash of glass and the rumble of boots
An electric train and a ripped up phone booth
Paint splattered walls and the cry of a tom cat
Lights going out and a kick in the balls
..... refrain edited...
Waking up from bad dreams and smoking cigarettes
Cuddling a warm girl and smelling stale perfume
A hot summers day and sticky black tarmac
Feeding ducks in the park and wishing you were far away
That´s ???

Well, if that was far to easy, here´s another one, written by a person, being popular for really evil things:

"What a mad delusion
Livin' in that confusion
Frustration an' doubt
Can you ever live without the game
The sad sad game
Mad game..."

But i can´t help. Hate this person, but I love this song.
