Scoreboard question (offline leaderboard)

I have a really terrible internet connection, so I have to play PS3 offline. I live in the sticks and the so called DSL is slower than dialup so the PS3 will not stay connected or even connect at all. Forget downloading anything or playing online. I have to take the PS3 somewhere (work, friend's house) in order to update and download things. This is a pain in the neck for sure.

My question: If I log on, will my high scores be transferred to the leaderboards? Or do you have to log your score immediately after the game to get on the leaderboard?

Pretty sure you have to be online for your score to show up. I once beat my high score and the game froze but the score still showed in my local scores and it never uploaded to the leaderboards.

Ah I figured as much. I don't do fakebook either so can't log it on there. I guess I could create an account just for scores, but could I somehow log it that way?

Anyone got an idea or solution? I want to be famous for my TPA high scores!
