tpa and pinmame

I know tpa works with steve ellenoff from the pinmame team for the emulation in their tables.

Just out of curiosity, wouldnt it have been easier to just license pinmame and incorporate that into their game code.

Pinmame already emulates basically all the games and will also emulate the new stern games as well

pinmame is based on mame. Mame does not allow commercial use. So I believe for license reasons it is not possible to use pinmame in a commercial product. The best thing you can do is to hire the developer so that he can recreate his work on another license...

I guess the ultrapin project must have been using pinmame against the eula.
