I think season 3 does beat season 2 but ended almost as dismally. Lca, hrc and diner are three tables I just can't enjoy and dare say if dracula hadn't been table 10 for that season and another premier or a bad stern had been released, it might have dropped season 3 down below 2 for me.

For the records while a step down from S1, i also like Season 2.But it is tricky to compare S2 with S3 because S2 had 19 tables and S3 10.It is easier for S3 to be more consistently good because they have less tables. For example i might agree that, while i still enjoy it, LCA is S3 weakest table but for me it will have way more lasting appeal than for example Going Nuts. And i don't even hate Going Nuts.It has curiosity value to me.I like having diversity.Being able to choose between tables like Big Shot, Flight 2000 or Star Trek. It's all good and while i obviously have personal preferences and tables i play way more often than others i'm glad the TPA library is evergrowing.I own all the tables but even those that don't already have a great amount of tables to pick and choose from.Everybody wins.

Well said. It's about marginal utility - you can't take each table in isolation, but have to consider what it brings to the whole package, because a significant part of the attraction of TPA for many is the variety and history.

Vanilla ice cream is the most popular. But ice cream makers don't just churn out endless variations of vanilla...

Its Fish Tales for me. High Speed and Black Knight 2000 being the absolute best. Don't have Dracula, don't have WHO Dunnit, dont have High Roller Casino.

LCA! It's dull. Possibly because the other 8 tables are way better. The reason I say 8 is because if I had to list top 10, Junk Yard and LCA would be on the bottom 2 by a mile.

Season 1 obvious favorite because of all the great pins MM, MB, AFM, NGG, Taxi, RBON, TOAN, TOM, STNG, TZ No contest compared to season 2.

POTO is actually pretty decent. I wouldn't say it's a dud. I certainly play it more than LCA, and Junk Yard. Perhaps because it's new but I see me playing it more than even Black Knight 2000 and High Speed which are pretty good tables in season 3.

I voted BK2K. I think the camera views on it are not great. I do play the table, but not as much as the others and it frustrates me more than any other table.

LCA I actually play more. I basically forced myself to learn the table and now have a begrudging respect for it. But there was a time, before the first table patch, where I thought it was the worst table in TPA.

Lights Camera Action is the worst table of the season, but as far as "worst tables" go, it's still better than Goin' Nuts and a couple of others...

of those i couldn't summon even the vaguest interest in and therefore did not buy (isn't diner just a poorer less engaging version of taxi ?) ...... and way ahead of the pack ..... Lights...Camera...Action! such a naff concept... nothing here to suck me in.

of those i regrettably purchased (it's not about the money, it's having one extra table i will never play, to have to scroll past) i give that ignominious award to .... hmm.... junk yard ? or whodunnit ?..... ok remembering how often i saw ppl clamouring for whodunnit.... this gets my wooden spoon award.... close ...but .... so great was my expectation, so mild the excitement and so quick did the old jets cool off

no, not exactly. The playfield layout is somehow similar but that can be said for many tables. On Diner you can go with few different strategies that pays of and score some significant points unlike on Taxi, where 1M shot is the only thing to go for.

accepted... but why then is Taxi a relatively decent game for me and yet Diner just seems like a pin that's just being churned out... reworking the formula, creating a new replacement for your existing site revenue generating amusement machine.... i dunno... i never player either pin IRL .... but Taxi seems fresher...and Diner seems more like reworking a tried and tested formula...a rehash. The only real entertainment for me are the cliche'd accents and personas of the diners..... i find Babs'/Maggi T's /Mrs Thatch's intolerance of the delays and her insistance on prompt service simply 'delicious'. i love to make her sweat waiting. that's about the sum total of my enjoyment of this pin ...sorry if that grates.

I will say I was highly disappointed with "WHO Dunnit". I love the theme, but those upper playfield shots are a nightmare to hit consistently. So much so, that it just ruins the game for me.

Bizarrely I ended up enjoying LCA after a while playing it, the biggest problem I had was it felt far too random, but that's because I was comparing it to the flow of other tables that feed directly to the flippers.

Once you're aware that nothing is safe and it's all about nudging and reaction times (and making sure you don't leave a flipper up EVER) it becomes a very hectic game that's fairly enjoyable and nowhere as cheap as games like say, Fish Tales or Diner or ST:TNG.

So with that I'm voting Fish Tales. I just can't stand it or ever seem to get a good game out of it and feel it's completely down to the stupid Lighting Flippers (thanks kinggo). I can't seem to aim for anything and the criss cross ramps look cool but that's basically it after a few games. Also that soundtrack seems like it was designed for people to have a 5 minute game and then leave.

BK2K. I really like this one IRL. The upper playfield just doesn't translate well to digital. Too easy to loop over and over. Honestly, it gets boring after a while and I could never say this about this pin in real life. Black Rose is a close second. The canon and its return ramp just look flat.

My fave was BSD.
