I like the new bounce - the ball feels more live and properly chaotic... However, yeah the physics generally needs to be mellowed out now to compensate. I think the new bounce captures some more of the quality of real pinball, but is not well tuned with the rest of the engine to seem realistic...
Oh, and congrats to ASK. This version best ever. Graphics much improved and a great new table. Stars Phoenix left ramp is a very hard shot to make though. I'm waiting till the pinball gurus on the forum give us new physics tweaks to make it easier. ;)
Noticed a bug when playing Stars Phoenix. At one point many of the target sounds stopped playing, though ball, bumper and music sound continued to play. This broken sound carried over to other tables until the application was forced to quit out of memory. Then on next launch sounds were back to...
Thanks for that! I never would have thought of going for such radical numbers, but it has given me a different start for tweaking physics. Flipper force 0% Who would have thought! ;)
When you shoot the drop targets 3 times and then shoot middle target for special "bonus ball" is lit in the right hole. Then placing ball in the right hole does not award bonus ball. (This may be a glitch if also 20,000 points is lit, as when bonus ball is lit neither seems to score.) Can anyone...
The larger ball feels more natural for some of the older style tables so ball size isn't completely useless. I would also be happy if ball material had an impact on weight and friction, but from my testing it doesn't appear to.
