I found a bug :
I got the Addams Family table by participating in the kickstarter. The table appears as bought when I launch the normal PA version, but not in the DX11 version (it's asking me to buy it again).
I have a few questions about that table :
- I play it on steam and the sound "stutters" regularly. Do you experience that too ? The other tables don't do that on my PC.
- Is it just me or the default high scores are very high ? 100 millions seems like a very hard score to reach in that game...
I also want these much needed improvements... but the aggressiveness of some people here is a real shame. They act like little kids who can't wait and must have what they want right here, right now. Grow up, be patient and the good things will come.
Nobody forced you to pay. You had the...
This might be apple's windows vista. I'm staying away from it for the moment, as it doesn't seem to bring anything interesting other than the new looks.
Just a quick and simple question, what works better for you when you aim for a particular place on a pinball table : looking at the flipper (the position of the ball on the flipper to be more exact) or looking a what you're aiming for ?
I never log in, because I don't see the point (I don't need my scores to appear anywhere else, just want them on my phone) and because if I do I have to wait forever after each game because the program sends my score on a server.
Take TPA for what it is : a simulation, thus it will never be like real, physical pinball. Just like playing a racing game will never be like driving an actual car. Once you get over that fact, you can enjoy TPA and stop complaining.
That said, a lot of physical pinball enthusiasts really do...
I began playing TPA on my iPhone while being on holidays far from home where I didn't have an internet connection, so at the time I did not log in to my Farsight account. Now that I'm back home I logged in but unfortunately this also resetted all the goals I had achieved and all my high scores...
What mods are you planning to do ? I have one too, been using it with visual pinball. The analog plunger is a pain to set up and use and doesn't add much to the experience IMO, but the motion detector for nudges is really great. I hope it will be supported one day by TPA.
Beautiful screenshot, it almost looks like a photo ! A little too dark like others have said, but clearly most of the work is done, and it's very promising. Still waiting *almost* patiently for the PC version.
