Now it looks like this has some controversy - particularly using the Pinball Arcade tables given that Farsight is using those for the Toy Shock machines. And sure enough someone posted a Tweet from Mel Kirk responding to this machine.
So will see how this goes.
If this came out like 3-4...
Saw this on Pinside and probably worth discussing here. Looks like there another virtual pinball machine coming out from AtGames. Reveled in this video:
The breakdown of the included tables:
38 Pinball Arcade tables (Gotlieb)
61 Williams tables from Farsight
108 Zaccaria tables
207 tables...
Oh your right!
And I was thinking they should have done Space Station instead of Dr Dude to complete that 'duo'.
I'd actually prefer Space Shuttle to Station since I think the slings leading to the flippers ruins that table. But all the same will be nice for something new and give it a fair...
Post on pinside linked to a Zen video that got taken down. Showed the following games apparently:
Funhouse
Dr Dude
Space Shuttle

I'm locked in to the Nvidia line with g-sync so haven't really looked closely at AMD cards. But you have 1440p monitor, which I also have. If you plan to run games well in that native resolution, from the little looking around, you'll need something a little better than a 470/570 (which sounds...
It's amazing Zen Studios is so out of touch that they don't realize they owe you these tables and should be releasing them on your schedule of acceptability. Outrageous indeed!
Right. That's how I viewed it as well with the PC release. Didn't really have a problem with it and the complaints to me seemed pretty minor to my enjoyment of the game.
That would be such a nice pull if they do that one. It's not a complicated table but I've always found the layout challenging and the theme fun. Just gotta get the multiplier bell clang to sound right - e.g. make it far louder than any of the table sound effects.
Initial impressions of the table are a bit disappointing.
The table looks great, like a modern table. But the ball physics are floaty so feels like their older EM pins. It feels off for this table.
The music/sound is the largest missed opportunity and make me not want to even play the table...
Nice. Looking forward to this collection.
Always have a soft spot for virtual Creature. Played the 2003 version in Williams Pinball Classics so much. Was the first recreation that made it click that each pinball table has a story and a goals to follow. Before that any real-world pinball play I...
These are the ones I'd like to see in Zen from that list:
Black Knight 2k
Bride of Pinbot
Diner
Earthshaker
Funhouse
Pin*Bot
Whirlwind
Fire! - Love the theme and game play of this table. Also pretty difficult.
Jokerz - Recently got to put a lot of time in to this table. Its good.
Transporter -...
From that list wouldn't mind seeing the following tables in Zen:
Solar Fire - Favorite Black Knight layout pin of that era
Defender
Space Shuttle
Sorcerer
Centaur
Fireball II - Love the manual center save kick out and just the table layout in general
Medusa
Skateball - Lots of drop targets...
Ha. There was one of those at Vintage Flipper World, which was also this weekend, along with World Defender which is a Terminator rip-off with the artwork in much the same way. Both of those tables are terribly mediocre.
So where was this 80s Comedy Poll coming from? Thought there would be a link to take it. Or was this just a made up for the show? Those movies are in my teenage wheelhouse so was looking forward to ranking them.
Update: Ah found it on Blahcade Twitter feed.
So much negativity.
When this came out in 2012 there were few digital pinball options, particularly recreating real-life tables, and at a high quality level - and yes back in 2012 the physics for TPA were pretty great. They put out 100 real-life tables, which is pretty incredible to have in...
Also will back up the not buggy releases. For awhile was playing this as they were releasing tables on Steam.
The only thing I can think of that was a bit crazy was all the different physic tweaks they made over a period of time (a few months?). During that stretch you didn't know exactly how...
Champions Pub is definitely a surprise of how good it is. I loved the concept of the table since I love the Punch Out games. Tried to like it in TPA but as mentioned the outlane drains were terrible and it felt unfair when playing. Not sure I got past 3 fighters in TPA.
