Are they going to explain Season 3 to fans before putting it on sale?

So, according to Farsight's recent comments on facebook (the Fish Tales screen shots), It will be one table per pack from here on out. And the season pass is $29.99 USD.

And I guess that 29.99 dollars will magically transform into 30 something Euro... as usual...
(it's not against tpa or anything, I'm just tired, so... grumpy.. )

At today's exchange rate shouldn't the Euro price be less than the US dollar price? Or does the Sony store pricing have nothing to do with exchange rates?

It should be roughly the same. A little bit lower perhaps, but it'll probably be 30€.

Pretty much $1 USD in the americas buys the same amount of game as 1 Euro in Europe, irregardless of exchange rates. It has always been this way for why I don't know. Euopeans have a history of getting screwed, but quite fankly they have it better now than ever before. Think of the dark ages where consoles ran slower at 50Hz instead of 60Hz with black bars on the top and bottom of the screen, and gamers had to wait years or more to get games after release first in Japan and then in the Americas, and if it sold really well, possibly get it across the pond. I live in the states myself but still feel for you guys.

Good news if you buy a completely region free console like say Ouya then all transactions are performed in USD and no there's stupid tax on digital downloads like with Nintendo and Sony. I have no idea about Android and IOS as I don't own and have never used a tablet device, but touchscreens generally suck donkey for "dpad/thumbstick and buttons" type games.

iOS / Android table packs are €4,49 = USD $6,18 (conversion date 12-12-13).

They have indicated on facebook that there will only be one table per month for season three. I also think that people in general underestimate the time it takes to make an EM table. They have to script the EM tables and I think that would take longer than fine tuning an already know ROM type for a particular table. It wouldn't take into account of tapping into a new ROM version but then one they do that they can use it on many tables.

i can easily dump that in coining then theres transportion costs so yes thats a bargain (outside of hardware costs)

I doubt it's just a matter of code. A lot of the time goes into tuning all of the physics for all of the surfaces. Since the rule set of most EM's is so much shallower than more modern tables, it is even more important to get that right. But, to answer your question, no, I haven't actually seen the code.

I don't know anything about pinball coding, but I have to imagine getting the timing on sounds and lights and generally anything you hit on the playfield to work right when you have no ROM to control all that must be an absolute nightmare.

Post this all you want, but people will still hold out hope for two table packs.....

I actually would prefer one popular, well made table, as opposed to two just for the sake of two.
