Such a tease...oh well, nothing to do about it on this end other than wait patiently.

I hope FarSight doesn't have to go through this process again for each DLC table release. That would be excruciating...and bad for their sales.

From the rating site: "The content of this game is suitable for persons aged 12 years and over only. It contains: Non realistic looking violence towards human characters"

Honestly? Which table are they referring to? :)

From their facebook page:

Microsoft has asked Crave (the XBLA publisher) to delay the release for a week to get better placement on the dashboard. We're sorry for the delay, but as of yesterday we were still hopeful to get review codes to give to the press and at least the option to release today. Even Microsoft seems to have expected the game to have been released this week. We will update again later today when the date is official.

Farsight have confirmed on facebook that the ios update and new tables will be submitted this week and may take upto 2 weeks to come out. On a more possitive note they confirmed that this update has been optimised for the new ipad and the 4s, with more polygons and higher resolution textures. Great news for me as I have both ;>).

Good news. I really hope the iPad 2 gets some graphic updates too since it has similar hardware to the 4S.

The iOS update was submitted last week, they said 2 weeks then as guesstimate, it could come anytime as soon as Apple approves it. I am eagerly awaiting the DLC tables, and glad I have a 4S to see enhanced textures/graphics.

Apparently not, just read the post on FB saying they will be submitted this week, lame. Hopefully Apple is speedy in approving.

Also my first post, been lurking for a week or so. Enthralled with Pinball Arcade

It's been a long time since I've played a ToM, but I'm guessing the animation of the woman being sawed in half during the Tiger Saw illusion is what did it. I think the Australian continent mode in Ripley's involves a human getting whacked with a boomerang or something, too.

Considering the current batch of Call of Duty/Modern Warfare/etc. video games, I find their concern about "non realistic looking violence" in a pinball game somewhat hilarious.

Theres an update out guys, looks like its fixes, downloading now. Installed, high rez graphics on my new ipad but game seems borked.Main menu has shrunk. Frame rate is supposed to be improved but its much worse. More to follow.

Hope it runs better for you, I've just deleted mine, going to try re-installing.

Right, that made no difference, I recommend no-one installs this update. All menu/ingame UI elements have shrunk, the dot matrix displays are tiny, as are the camera and pause buttons. Worse thing though is the frame rate seems to have halved, the ball behaving very odly ( a bit like when you get a notification through ).

Seems like only iPad 3 users are seeing these problems. Everything is fine on my iPad 2 and the tables look better.

Someone on TA forum reporting same problem, he has a new ipad too. The new graphics do looks great though. My guess is this update hasn't been tested on a new ipad, all the menu/ui elements are 1/4 the size.

The iPad 3 issues look like the device thinks it's an iPhone, instead of an iPad, maybe they used the wrong identifier in the build. Runs great on my 4S however, and updated tables look awesome. Here's a few pics from TOTAN

Here's something that may help out all you iPad 3 users who want to roll back TPA to the previous version. Hope this helps you guys and gals out.

Roger Pack If you haven't updated the app on your computer (but already did on your iPad).....delete the app from your iPad.....plug the iPad into the computer and re-install the app from the computer and you will have the older version :)
