... There are other games that look awesome (Xenon,Embryon,Paragon) but I want a good playing game - art alone just won't cut it. But if any of those tables made it into TPA,I'd be fine with that.
... In closing (don't hate) I am not a big soccer fan - so there was no way I was voting for World Cup '94...

I have little issue with your picks, but the gameplay on the tables that you dismissed is quite good. Paragon and Xenon are quite good, and I don't have to like soccer/footy to appreciate the gameplay in World Cup Soccer '94.

I'd suggest that anyone still to vote should check out the PAPA links posted by Karl on page 1 (if you've got time to kill—some of them are quite long.)

Speaking of soccer/footy, if anyone wants to try perhaps the best original table for Visual Pinball then here is a link for Rapid Vienna (requires VP8.)

I was hoping 1978 Bally Playboy would sneak into the poll. I didn't expect it, but it would have been a cool surprise. It was very popular, over eighteen thousand made. I guess it is too adult a theme (no nudity though).

I'm not dissing any of those tables, not at all. But they just didn't make my top ten. I'd probably get the lot of them when & if they ever get released (especially since I'm getting hooked more & more on TPA)

My choices below

Corvette (1994)
Indianapolis 500 (1995)
Party Zone, The (1991)
Space Invaders (1980)
Strange Science (1986)
WHO dunnit (1995)
World Cup Soccer (1994)
Xenon (1980)

Have only ever played in real life World Cup Soccer and Indy 500. Xenon looks like an awesome old school machine, and the others I selected I thought were interesting.

Showed a lot of love for Bally's -35 tables. I love this era of Bally. Personally, I like more Bally's from the late 70's and early 80's than any of the other manufacturers. And judging by how well Centaur turned out, I know FarSight can do these pins justice. Just need to tone down those flippers to make em feel more like a Bally. My choices:

Eight Ball Deluxe
Embryon
Fathom
Flash Gordon
Indianapolis 500
Judge Dredd
Nitro Ground Shaker
Paragon
Spectrum
WHO Dunnit?

one table that's sorely missing is the 1981 Vector

+1! I would've bumped Space Invaders from my Top 10 for Vector in a freak'n heartbeat!!

P.S. for the forum admin(s): What's with the quick login time out here on the forum? It's not a banking website or anything. Granted, I'm not the worlds fastest typist, but I've never finished a post without having to re-login just to successfully post.

First 8 were easy (alphabetical - *= have actually played the real pin):
Black Rose*
Corvette*
Indy 500*
Judge Dredd*
Party Zone
Radical
WHO Dunnit*
World Cup Soccer*

Then after counting #9 had to be Safe Cracker for the novelty.

#10 was tough though, it was between Paragon and Xenon, and I went with Paragon, because it's a widebody, though I would love to have BOTH in TPA so Xenon is my #10A.

Here's my votes:

Black Rose - Lack of pirate themes
Fathom - To me, my favorite of the 80s Bally Tables
Flash Gordon - I've seen the PAPA tournament videos of this, and thoroughly enjoyed watching them inspite I never liked the movie it was based on
Future Spa - PURE CHEESE* :D *Disclaimer Still a good table
Judge Dredd - Seen some videos prior, and I liked what I seen especially the cameo of the 'Move your car' guy.
Medusa - A nice 80s table
Space Invaders - ^
Strikes and Spares - Could go for some bowling theme tables though its a cross between an EM to a SS
World Cup Soccer - Awesome 90s table
Xenon - Historic, fun, yet brutal table

Bally had so many great tables, especially in the late 70's early 80's. My picks were dominated by those fantasy/mythology/sci-fi tables with great gameplay and some of the finest artwork to grace pinball games including Medusa, Fathom, Xenon, Embryon, and Paragon. I also went with Judge Dredd, a very solid table, Who Dunnit which I'm a huge fan of, Black Rose since we need a good pirate themed game, World Cup Soccer because it actually does play great despite my lack of interest for the theme, and finally Safe Cracker which is totally unique and very fun. Just hope we get the digital token collection for Safe Cracker. I would have loved to have added Mata hari, Spectrum, and Elektra which were all pretty crazy. Not to mention Future Spa which is weird but fun. Eight Ball Deluxe and Fireball are great too but I think I skipped over them due to their inclusion in the previous official Bally poll.

Agree with those who praise the the late 70's early 80's Bally. One game I really would have liked to see on this poll is Frontier. Never played it in real life but I love it in VP. I know this is not very high on most lists but I just find it damn fun
and wonderful artwork also. This video says it all. Man, if I could tap pass like Keith Elwin I would be a star ;)

Palmer. Pin Wiz have included what he considers soft licenses, or easy to get licenses. Machines that would not need a kickstarter to see the light of day.

why are there licensed tables in this poll.. didn't we already have one for licensed tables?

where's doctor who

Yes I was thinking that too. I'm hoping it's because DrWho would be classed as a Premier Licensed table, due to the complications of getting the rights to use the name from the BBC. It's a terrific game.

First eight choices were dead easy for me;

Black Rose
Elektra
Embryon
Judge Dredd
Mata Hari
Medusa
Strange Science (hoping TPA would put the lane change on the flippers instead of having separate buttons)
Xenon (even though we'd miss the "Auh!" sound when you put the coins in)

They were the ones already on my personal wish list. Then it became more difficult. A lot more. Eventually chose...

Safe Cracker
Spectrum

... because they both seem to be machines with unique gameplay & features that would just broaden the variety of pinball experiences available on TPA.

Just wondering, which was the Fireball in the other poll? Fireball Classic or Fireball II?
