Is there a chance of seeing any Stern tables from the last 10 years next year or is the emulation to tricky to implement? (I know they said they need more time emulating SAM 2 but that was 6 months ago so there might have been some progress since then)

This was exact what i was about to ask.

When will the first Sam 2 machine be out?

I've already asked my question, but this just popped in my head and thought maybe we could figure out a way of posing this to Bobby.

TPA is fast approaching it's one year anniversary. Maybe Bobby could offer up a 'state of the game' for TPA, thereby covering a lot of the 'how do you think things are going' questions, as well as what their hopes are for the coming year. That could maybe include answers to the updating older physics builds with the newer, and where they are with new emulations.

Anyway, like I said, I already asked my question, and don't think this should be one asked with the upcoming round of questions. But maybe it could be a suggestion to Bobby and FarSight?

Some of those will probably be in the poll as well.

Jeff, you are the moderator, and as such I acknowledge you have final say and judgment as to how the poll is comprised and conducted.

However, given the previously posted guidelines for question submission, you state "If your question doesn't get picked this time around, don't worry because this will be a reoccurring event, so you can always resubmit your question for the next round."

Given this precedent set at previous Q&A rounds, I feel like simply re-using questions from the last round isn't fair to those who actively submitted questions this time. It sort of defeats the purpose of re-posting questions, because the idea is to show a question you have not had answered is still a concern.

I don't mean to belittle previous unanswered questions, all are valid. I just feel preference should be given to those who actively submitted questions for this round.

Again, you're the moderator, so you are the last word. I just wanted to put my two cents in.:)

Thing is, if you've followed closely, you'll see that I rarely ever leave any new questions out. Preference is always given to new questions. I mainly only have that disclaimer in there as a formality, although I do use my discretion from time to time. I usually only add old questions to fill in the empty spaces....and usually the main reason why there are empty spaces is because the thread is only open so long in order to keep things moving. So if there were more people posting questions, then the poll would almost certainly contain all new questions (although I do like to carry over a few old questions anyway because a number of folks have requested that I do just that).

BTW, this thread has been open for about a week now, which is usually about the time I like to close it in order to get the poll going and the questions off to Bobby ASAP......but there aren't enough questions yet (only about 20 after I combine a few of them), so I'll have to use a few old questions too.

So anyway....get your last minute questions in folks! :)

Will Farsight give some info on how they intend to resolve the High Scores/Leaderboard disappointment....and also give more info on Tournament Play ? (Especially as Tourneys were part of the TZ tiers as I remember).

There seems to be a differencs btw the different platforms in the leaderboard tables. The console users and especially the xbox ones seems to be able to rack up a lot bigger scores then for example the android and ios users are able to acomplish. This is also heard among users having multiple systems to compare with. There seems to.be as big difference as double or tripple the average topscores on some tables. Mostly the gametime seems to be able to be prolonged by using different tecknicues with the nudgestick on the consoles.
My question is will FS make the leaderboards more diversified with for example separete leaderboards for padusers and consoleusers to solve this issue or will they make other adjustments to make the leaderboards fair??

I haven't asked my question so I'd like to use shutyertrap's question for my allowed question.
