Guys I can nderstand the anger and frustration but let's keep it cool with each other, I've experienced some things that were just swept under, if this man has such issues do what you feel is right. Fair points made on all sides, my personal opinion is to go put him down and boycott the tables ....it has ruined creature for me too even see the mans artwork. But let's not get into conspiracy theories , a coworker or even friend or your own father, you cannot say you know everything that's going on. It's a very sad state of affairs , for pinball this community and all companies involved. The "creature" will get what he deserves. As for others inaction it's a fairly common thing.

If you wish to boycott ghostbusters and anything he had a hand in like I am then do so. What else can we do don't turn the n each other!

Some people are broken beyond understanding.

I ddon't not like being too serious gimme a break!

Honestly, going to end this conversation, doesn't seem like anything will change your mind about what you believe is going on at Stern. Enjoy your conspiracy theories.

I'm not condemning the games he's been the team leader on. I'm not going to boycott CFTBL (as if I ever see them anymore) because of this. Hitler was the primary force behind VW. Did that sink them? My issue is the stupidity of this company to dick around all summer long before finally releasing this table. Don't give me that 6 weeks ****. If they knew this was coming then they could have pulled it from releasing. That is what pisses me off.

Two words: Penn State.

My thoughts too. lol This and other evil, sick stuff is much more widespread and prevalent than most think in elite and leftist circles. Most can't fathom what really goes on out there outside the programming, matrix owned and presented by corporate interest who happen to be both elitist and leftist. Point is... they won't tell on themselves.

I was told 1st quarter then April, then May, this is what is pissing me off. Along with Whoa Nellie and Big Buck Hunter. As for that alleged pervert, it has no bearing on my view of Stern and pinball, as they're everywhere! For every one scapegoat outed, there are many, many rings of them as Sandusky was a scapegoat and even now his son is even involved.

Please don't bring Infowars-style bull**** into this forum. Modern pinball companies aren't terribly large (elite? hardly) and I've never heard a pinball company declare their political preference, personally.

Pinball companies are pretty small these days, and there are plenty of "star designers" out there. It's hard to see that the above money conspiracy theory is legitimate; there's no way that any company that had any sense, and had an inkling that an employee was a pedophile, would knowingly let that person continue to design. The fallout for this sort of thing is huge, as seen in forums and as seen in many other incidents.

People also are innocent until proven guilty. Child porn is nasty stuff, and a charge is definitely seriously disturbing. But I personally refrain from a final opinion until the verdict.

In the interests of not going completely off topic for this thread, I'll shut up. But, my opinions and beliefs are still the same.

So I'm starting to see the console certification excuse being thrown out there in a couple of threads, but can someone explain to me how Zen deals with the same certification processes and still manages to release across multiple platforms simultaneously while Farsight still can't get it right after all of these years?

Certification takes longer when you keep failing it.

At first: Childporn and abuse is the most evil, no doubt.
Second: In our judicial-system (Germany the same as USA), people got to be rated as innocent, until proven guilty. And that for good reason. But if he´s guilty, let him burn in hell.
Third: Why boycott pinball-tables? Following this logic-path, I got to boycott the Autobahn (German Highways), because Hitler "build" them. Or a few years ago: The child-porn-issue about Pete Townshend. Stopped hearing the wonderful music of THE WHO or his solo works? No, and by the way, Pete was not sentenced. There was more than reasonable doubt about his guilty. I believe he´s innocent.

For those, who got a bad conscience about buying the ghostbuster-table, better donate money to charities, that support victims of child-abuse, as an kind of compensation. They need our help even more than our compassion. As you see, my ethics of consequences are stronger than my ethics of attitute.

Farsight has monthly DLC, at least with TPA, where as, Zen has 3-4 packs released in a year's time. Another thing that people never want to answer is why does Microsoft Studios pop up when you start up Pinball FX? Does Zen have a special deal with them and the same with Sony platforms, from what I remember SOE(Sony Online Entertainment) also pops up when you start Zen Pinball. Real tables vs fictional ones, lot of pinball experts are constantly critiquing every inch of TPA/SPA tables, where as, about the only thing you can critique Zen tables on is their theme like people were doing when the Universal tables were announced missing the sound effects of Jaws/E.T. or what characters might sound/look like compared to their comic book/movie/tv counterpart.

P.S. Was speaking about the great world of Steam/Mobile that gets the monthly DLC :p I know consoles have been about 1-2 years behind.

The Microsoft thing with comes from the 360 days when MS required a publisher to release games on the system, hence Zen made a deal for MS to be the publisher on that system (remember the fiasco of Farsight trying to find a publisher for TPA on the 360?) Farsight has gotten to the point of barely releasing half a season of tables in one batch on consoles once a year. Ideally, with certification being 6 weeks on consoles, they should be able to release a new table minimally every 2 months on consoles if they submitted their tables at the same time they did with other platforms for TPA. There's no excuse for SPA since the tables aren't released monthly and they are less platforms to release on. We're not talking about a company that is just starting out. Farsight has been doing this long enough, they should be better at multi platform release by now. They clearly have a pattern of productivity down in order to recreate a table for monthly releases.

I think it's pretty obvious to most people that Farsight is having serious management issues. It's unfortunate that there isn't any alternative for real-life pinball table recreations for console owners to turn to. Zen doesn't count, those aren't real life table recreations. I honestly don't care about the antics of the people that work at Farsight, I just want new pins to play on my PS3/4 in a reasonable amount of time. I'm paying for them. I've been waiting for the rest of season 6 (I bought both season 6 pro passes for PS3/4 the moment they were available for purchase, and everything for SPA too) for months now. No idea when or even if I will ever actually see them. And I'm losing hope for season 7 ever happening before the PS4 is obsolete. My laptop isn't powerful enough to play these games with any reasonable amount of fidelity, so the consoles are my only choice.

Even with the various bugs and glitches the consoles versions have, I still enjoy playing them very much. Much of my youth was playing a lot of these tables and it's great to have them in digital form. But I am becoming very disappointed with the constant delays and excuses surrounding releases and updates. Something really needs to change at Farsight.

+1 Rayder. Very well said. I'm in the same boat you are. A lot people on these forums always tell console players "just switch to PC!" It's not that simple. I've tried TPA on my PC multiple times. It runs like crap. It crashes a lot and when it does run, it's SLOW!!! I live out in the country. The only internet provider I have isn't the greatest but it works okay. I don't have a gaming PC and it's only a couple of year's old. Outside of gaming, it meets the needs of my family adequately, so it's not financially feasible to upgrade.

My main platform to play games on is the PS4. I started playing Farsight games on the PS 2 with the Gottlieb collection, then the Williams collections on both Wii and the PS3. I bought Season 1 of TPA on the PS3, held off on buying anymore seasons after that since it was announced for the PS4, and Farsight touted how great the next generation of TPA was going to be. And it's been a mess. Lack of consistent updates and table releases, still no sign of friend leaderboards as we're approaching the 4 year Anniversary if it's NA release (Dec. 10, 2013). And I apologize to everyone here for the same broken record over the years. I had hopes that SPA was going to be different being that they were representing Stern, but it's still the same Farsight problems with a new title slapped on top of it.

Most of my that I've played Pinball with for years left TPA behind a long time ago and wouldn't give SPA a chance due to their frustrations with Farsight. I'm one of the last hold outs in my group and I don't blame them. And I agree Rayder, bugs and all, I do enjoy playing their product. But the lack of support is so frustrating. (Sorry for the long posts)
