I just managed to lock the ball in the lower left lock to get the "possible selections", the ball popped out whilst the selection was being made. I ended up playing video mode whilst the ball was in play. Presume this is a bug.

It's a pretty shallow saucer that locks the ball. Maybe you nudged at the right moment and it popped loose? I've never seen it IRL.

It's been awhile since I played a real T2 and was wondering if shots can actually get through to the bumpers from the flippers ?

[/IMG]It seems to me there would not be enough space in-between the posts for this to happen and it was something that stood out right away for me.

You can get a ball through there on a real T2, but it almost always rattles around between that post with the white ring (the one directly above the end of your arrow) and the side of the ramp, which in turn means it comes back down through that opening a few seconds later. Getting it through the gap and actually into the bumpers requires an extremely hard and extremely accurate shot, and may not be possible on all T2s.

Here's another for the "does it really effect much" column:

Making minor changes, from factory default, in the T2 operators menu causes the local HSTD to dump all it's scores and the clock to reset to Jan 1, 1996(?)

All that was changed was Tournament rules on, and replay/special set to extra ball.
I played one game and by the end the service dot was on and the HSTD was reset to default. I opened the coin door to find that the dot was because the clock wasn't set any more.

The camera view starts too high up on table on the bottom part of the table in landscape mode (same on all 4 views). The bottom part of table that is visible on screen starts above the middle drain post, so the post isn't visible, which for me makes T2 almost unplayable in landacape mode as it is often important to see that SDTM ball saving post.
Is anyone else having the same problem or is it only samsung s3 related?

I checked Landscape on my Nexus 10, so it may not be the best comparison, and the centre post was right at the bottom, just barely visible, in views 1,2 and 4; view 3 had it completely exposed.

Curious as to what all the repeat "TEST_USER" names are in the bronze level tourney.

Ahh right. Ryan populated the tournament with dummy data to test the functionality of the tiered tournaments.

in the tournament table select carousel if you select the table that is lower in the list the list doesn't wrap, it just moves up. This cuts off the 4th table choice after moving to the bottom table on the list.

But when you move up the list the selections will scroll and wrap around.

Yeah... The screen is pretty horrid when there's a low number in the list. >_<

That explains thing, well, at least i'm better than something :D I'll enjoy my minute and a half at the top of the heap. Black Hole is mean without extra balls. It's been a while since I last played TOTAN as well, and it's much improved...no more waiting forever for a weak ramp shot to rock back and forth in the spiral. Nice.

I had emailed the kickstarter email address regarding entitlements, as I'd really like to be somewhat useful in the T2 beta (though push comes to shove i can wait until the 15th to buy it and choose another console anyway). I got a Warning message in return saying the connection wasn't allowed or something. I hope i'm not farsight spam :(

it's weird that Blackhole has no EBs but the DMD tables, especially TOTAN, that have ROM settings aren't set to tournament rules and still have EBs enabled.

The replay value in RBION, for the tournament, is really low; around 20M lower than usual

Superballs: Mybad I had the email address wring in my earlier post it is kickstarter@farsightstudios.com

either my trigger button is completely non responsive or I'm trying to hit wrong part of dropship, but I keep missing the multiball due to a MISS! Driving me nuts at the moment.

Mine seems to work 100% when above and not touching the nudge zone.
Although I've probably only gotten an hour of play time so far.

Have you tried switching 'show touch scheme' on to check it's above.

Other than that - you might have to wait on the button area isolation fix.

Yep, tried that. Tried every position and still only about 40% success rate.

Tried it out earlier today, and I gotta say, I am quite impressed so far! Admittedly the textures aren't very sharp yet,

If this is the case how can the blury textures and text be purely hardware issues. The yet in this statement says that they can tidy things up? This would explain why some tables are horrible and others passable.

T2 is quite horrible to look at.

I haven't yet updated to 4.3 and have a similar problem with the shooting target multiball thing: sometimes it works and sometimes it just doesn't respond and counts as a miss.

On my nexus 4 the back half of the table is consistently blurry. And when you change cameras you can clearly see the dividing line for the blur draw slide up and down the table. Now on my Nexus 7 2013 its gotta be the best looking table yet. Text is sharp no blur anywhere, colors are great (except for the dropship and the skull those are way to dark to simulate chrome). Both devices have similar hardware so they should look similar(except for the HD screen on the N7 of course.) Its probably just a software issue, this beta came super early so I'm sure it'll be fixed.
