I noticed that there was a 1.06 update for the Vita so I decided to see if it actually fixed anything other than Black Hole.
Played TOTAN until the Wizard mode Genie battle... And it's still broken. Would not let me launch more than one ball during the Genie battle (so it couldn't be beaten) and once that ball drained I had to call an attendant which had the effect of also draining my last ball and ending the game.

This is a launch glitch on a launch table. This game has had game-breaking bugs since day one and 7 months later they still haven't bothered to fix it (or even bother to acknowledge it that I've seen). Why even bother tracking these glitches when it's obvious they don't care how low quality their product is? Maybe they should do a kickstarter to hire someone that can actually do a good job.

I've also encountered this bug. Can't launch any balls when I reached the Genie Battle. I posted a thread about it in the TotAN forum... sorry if that's the wrong place. I've gotten to that Genie Battle on Vita twice and the same thing has happened to me, so it's completely reproducable. The battle is unbeatable unless you can do it on a single ball without losing it. Calling attendant gets the game going again but of course that's pointless when I've just lost the final battle.

Really needs to be fixed and is super frustrating. If this has been there since launch I'm not sure why I'm wasting my time working on the trophies for this game or why I should spend money on their other tables. Surely it's not that hard to fix?

Yes, this table has been broken since launch. I've made it to the genie battle several times and not once has it worked.

Game Version: most recent EU-Version 1.05:

Attack from Mars
Localization-Glitch leads to reproducable crash

When accessing the wizard goals of AFM with the Vita System language switched to German, the wizard goal-tutorial is glitched. I haven't checked with all the other non-english languages, but probably only german is affected, because after testing it with spanish, everything worked well.

When running Pinball Arcade with german localisation the wizard goals list is messed up.

And when selecting one goal to look at, the entry leads to the wrong tutorial. The first goal "Multi-Ball-Super-Jackpot" leads to the "Martian-Attack-Multiball"-tutorial, "Video Mode" leads to "Rule the universe"-tutorial, "Hurry-up" leads to "Video Mode"-tutorial, "Rule the Universe" actually shows "Rule the Universe"-Tutorial ;)...
But selecting "Goal 5" crashes the game.

And btw viewing the wizard goals from the table select screen crashes the game too.

The table-information dialog has a huge problem with overflowing text, since it doesn't use text-scrolling at all.

I'm not sure when this began, but I'm using the latest patched Vita version as of 7/9/13.

If you play a table and complete the standard goals, the game will notify that wizard goals are unlocked and autosaves. This is expected.

However, if you go to another table, and unlock even a single standard goal, at the end of the game, the game will notify you that wizard goals are unlocked and autosaves, eliminating your chance at unlocking all standard goals and getting the standard goal trophy.

If you unlock all the standard goals legitimately, autosave, quit the game, and restart, you can then proceed to another table and the bug doesn't happen. It only happens when you play another table immediately after unlocking all standard goals on a separate table.

If the bug does happen, you either have to download a saved game from the cloud that was made before the bug happened, and overwrite your local save, or you have to remove the entire game and download all tables again from Sony's already buggy store. Annoying as hell.

It only happens when you play another table immediately after unlocking all standard goals on a separate table.

I haven't heard of this one, but then I don't believe I've ever switched to another table immediately after getting the Standard Goals, I usually keep playing for a few Wizard Goals right away or quit the game entirely.

So It looks like I have missed several updates for this game (about 6) from the notes it looks like they aren't anything except updates so they can add more broken tables, menu buttons, purchase options etc...
Have they actually fixed or addressed any of the problems with the game in these patches?

Is it me but are all the tables on the ps vita version to bright or do I need to turn down the brightness..??

Hmmm... I've never noticed them being to bright at all. You can lower the brightness of the screen though.
The problem is that the Vita version is by far the worst version and has a multitude of game breaking bugs and graphics glitches in it.

Black Knight on Vita is almost unplayable. I always play 2 player, so can't say for sure if it's the same one one player, but it doesn't take long for the upper ball lock to stop working and not let a new ball in, so that the ball just rests up there. You can tilt and then that's all, you have to reset. Occasionally a ball will go in but not lock. Also on multiplayer there's only one score display and it shows each players' scores at the same time, so usually it just reads all 8's. That's not even something you'd have to set up to experience in playtesting. You'd notice that right off the bat. Makes you wonder how much Farsight cares about the game quality on Vita.

Maybe it's a multi-player thing... but this has never happened to me on normal single player and I've played that table quite a bit.

Had two happen to me today.

Finished a game of Funhouse, and after saving the game stuck on a screen of the camera panning around the table with no menu. Couldn't do anything. Had to exit the game.

Then I played some TOTAN. I set a new first place local highscore. Then I went to compare it to my friend's scores. All but two of my friends were missing, and so was I. My new score showed up under Weekly Overall, but for All Time Overall it still showed my old score. Exiting and restarting fixed it all.

Has anybody else noticed the low resolution of the T2 playfield, that's very disturbing when zoomed in (like when you launch the ball or fire the gun)?
I can't remember being annoyed by this on Android/iOS versions of this table?

Black Knight locks up on me sometimes when the ball hits the Eject Hole on the lower playing field.

Hopefully the above issues will be fixed in the upcoming megapatch (along with the outstanding ones from the master lists)

I've got a couple more issues/ideas to add:

1: The tables with italic scores have the top right of the corners of the numbers cut off (Gorgar is the worst example of this)
2: On some of the tables without DMDs could the player number and ball number be in the top left corner with the score (rather than in a totally different corner)
3. When entering your initials could the enter button also be on the X button as well as the touch screen, it is also on the plunger on some tables but not all (and a backspace option added to the tables with added high score tables)
4. An option to hide the pause/camera setting from showing up in the corner (then the DMDs could be moved into a better position)
5. Seperate savable option settings for EACH table (camera view/camera lock/plunger cam/DMD/multiball cam/event cam/(PS3) flipper settings etc.)
6. An option to disable the circle, square and triangle buttons to change the camera/DMD settings leaving them as (savable per table) menu options only (as I keep hitting these buttons by accident)
7. Some of the table pictures on the table select screen have the DMDs turned off, making it look as if the tables are turned off, and some of the DMDs are off on the screen after the table's been selected (and Firepower needs fixing: http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/4649-Firepower-cabinet-art-skewed-and-out-of-place )
8. A way to start a new game with the same number of players (rather than having to set it for every game)
9. Please do away with the added dings/noises that aren't on the actual table (eg. Initial entry screen dings and the added ding, ding, ding bell 'music' on Big Shot's menu screens) (Just the flipper noises would be fine on the 'added' initial entry screens)
10. An option added to the Pro Menu to turn Family Mode On/Off (that doesn't interfere with the high scores/leaderboards, that's also savable per table)
11. On the table exploration screen an option to turn the DMD on and off and could the 'O - Back' icon and the camera settings/pause be hidden (They're really in the way where they are at the moment). The same goes for all the added stuff on the (low-res) flyer screen
12. When the game continues after the 'lost connection' screen could we have the 321 countdown (like when returning from the other menu screens)
13. Could the X button be used (as well as the touchscreen) to continue after the saving screen (the ugly grey one that doesn't fit in with the rest of the game)
14. Why does that ugly grey score screen have to pop up the split second the game finishes and it covers the DMD (maybes this will be fixed in the UI update)
15. Why do the standard goals disappear from the menu and the 'stars box' once they've been completed, a way to reset goals & high scores per table would be nice

These could be added to the PS3 version

SIAP: In portrait mode on T2, the ball launch trigger obscures the right outlane with no option to move it like on iOS. While we're at it, no option to move these triggers on any game(BK, STTNG, etc.)

There are a lot of things the Vita version should have had. At this point I see the Vita version as a black pit of incompetence that I poured money into.
If this rumored patch actually does fix anything of importance I will truly be shocked.
